I hate the way I am, and everything within
just a worthless nervous wreck, where do I begin?

I'll fight day by day, but still it always stays
it chokes me out, fills me with doubt, my internal plague
don't mind the price I pay, life bonded it will stay
day by day, scars and pain of my internal plague

I can't live my life, these nerves they bring me strife
somethings missing, I can't be, so empty there's no hope for me

And so I sit, near the cliff edge and look upon the ocean
with it's turning tides like emotions we all feel inside
darkness unpredictable with undertows and rips
that make us feel so despicable like I wanna run and hide
and let myself collide, against the sharp jagged rocks that we call life
and it might cut me open, leave me feel torn and broken
and I'm down and out, but I'll ignore the doubts of my internal plague

vacant, is this life?

my internal plague will always stay, some days I just can't keep these thoughts at bay
